Very Good Value for Mobile VHF radio!
Purchase Price for this radio was very reasonable. Received earlier than promised and that was good because I needed a few extra days for programing. Unit as received was software blocked to prevent programming from the front panel. Once I received my programming cable and downloaded the software, I then was able to unlock the front panel programming, but since I had the cable and software, it was now much easier to program by computer. The unit was very easy to repurpose to the Ham band and required only programming without realignment to move to the new frequencies. While the matching hand microphone is of good quality and unlikely to experience damage due to the thick, hard shell plastic material that it is made from, I will likely change to a more comfortable, lighter weight model ...
