Have used Rotosounds ever since I started in 1977
I've tried a few other brands...forget it...I end up coming back to Rotosound...I've used medium gage on my 2basses for slap and pop style... And I use the Billy Sheehan Rotosound special gage for my Yamaha Attitude basses.,..first time I have ever purchased and used the heavy gage Rotosounds... Absolutely love them!!!..nice and bright highs with crisp lows....highly recommend!!!!

It's been a long time since I've used to rotosound swing bass strings. I went with the solely because of the fact I needed a stainless steel set in the 50-110 gauge for detuning. They are still good solid sounding stings. Still have a grittier feel than most SS strings. I prefer the LaBella RX SS or the Daddario prosteel, but the gauge i was looking wasn't available. These are a bit less bright and zingy than other stainless strings, but some folks are looking for that.It's been a long time since I've used to rotosound swing bass strings.
