Player's assume the role of bounty hunter Jenosa Arma in this original action-adventure from Orbital. Donning her projective gauntlets and prototype battle suit, Arma embarks on her latest mission: investigating the rise of an insidious group of creatures -- "the Scurge" -- which originated at a bio-research facility in deep space. Item was as described, packaged securely, and shipping was very fast. Although the limited edition box packaging wasn't sealed, everything was basically brand new inside. The photobook pages were still somewhat stuck together, showing that they haven't been flipped through. The drama CD and game box were also sealed. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase. The price was also the best I've found for the item, which is limited edition and no longer in stock.

    metroid stoy ripoff . sci-fi zelda gameplay. good game

    Story is totally a metroid ripoff, gameplay is alot like alien syndrome (the old arcade/NES game, not the new one). I would say its like a sci-fi zelda/action RPG. Lots of weapon add-ons/upgrades, and teh weapon selection tool is well executed (easy to access without taking you out of the game, but pauses the game during selection so you don't take cheap shots) It takes a while to get used to the iso view, but you are for the most part over-leveled, so the gameplay is forgiving. Definitely a hidden gem.

    Metroid Rip-Off?

    While at times this fast paced game feels like a Metroid clone, it is bogged down by a tiresome storyline with often yawn worthy storyline. It screams METROID CLONE in every sense of the word. The female hero is a bounty hunter, it takes place in space.. the rest is just details. Now, I'm not harping on the game itself. It's a darn good looking game graphically. There isn't much difference from the Game Boy Advance version, so if you have that, you're wasting your time with the DS version here. It's not the best game in the world, but it's a lot of fun. A solid 8 out of ten.

    this one could have been great

    This game had a good chance to become what it should have been. But it was rushed(by what I can tell) because the graphics are low grade. Gameplay is ok. The storyline had the makings of being one of Nintendo DS's greats but it failed. I really tried to like this one.

    Scurge:Hive

    This game is great so far. It is kind of hard so far, as far as controls go but, I'm not really use to hand helds. This game reminds me of Halo.

    Don't underestimate the Scurge

    I got this game real cheap after reading reviews about it. I like the game a lot as it has decent graphics and gameplay. The only issue is that shooting is hard to do at an angle, but other than that this is a must buy game if you can find it for $10 or less.
