  • Great for new and experienced collectors!

Concise, easily read text full of facts accompanies excellent photographs. The text and photos are together, so there's no flipping around when you need the info in a hurry. Multiply the prices by four and you will be in the ballpark for 2008, though this year they seem to be climbing to the skies. This is my second copy of this book as I soon realized I would be too hard on just one and wear it out quickly -- and I'll probably buy another! Don't get me wrong: The cover and paper are sturdy and durable and show both text and photos to their best advantage. The author has a long and highly-regarded history as part of the typewriter collecting community. I heartily recommend this book as essential to every collector's library.
