The purpose of the game is to save some young women abducted by a group of men coming from Joe and Mac's rival caves.     Classic SNES Caveman Action

    Bought for my kids, who really like "The Croods". My daughter loves this game. Simple, straight-forward game play. The game is very challenging. Overall, it's a good game. I am happy with the purchase.

    A Classic for the SNES

    This is a great game from my childhood that allows 1-2 players to go on a sidescrolling quest as cavemen (the eponymous Joe & Mac) to save cavewomen from the dangers of dinosaurs and ill-disposed cavemen. It allows for level replayability (like Super Mario World) though there is not a way to save. It is a wild ride for sure.

    Great Classic Game.

    Great to play this simple prehistoric side scroller again! I love travelling through all the different levels scenery and dinos. That might just be the nostalgia speaking but I’ll always love this game!

    Solid one player game, great two player game!

    Joe and Mac is one of the best action / adventure games for the snes. The snes version easily has better graphics than other versions of this game. The two player mode is really good, and you can benefit from the help of a buddy throughout the game. It is simple enough to be enjoyed by kids and gets progressively more challenging for the older gamers. I recommend this game to people of all ages because the content is kid friendly. With so many violent games out there nowadays it is good to know that one can always turn to the classics for good, clean fun!

    Great game! Falling dead, and coming up with wings, is a hoot. Difficult, but worth the effort.
