Delicious book!
With all of the new precuts available (layer cakes, jelly Rolls and Charm packs) their size and shape make it easy to sew super fast quilts with a great deal of variety in piecing. Nicky and Pam have written an easy to understand, follow and inspirational book to make the very best use of these industry precuts. I particularly like the inclusion of two colorways for each pattern. I don't know about you, but it's hard for me to visualize another colorway other than the usual one pictured by most authors. Precuts save a great deal of time and fuss in trying to build compatible colorations in a quilt--it's a piece of cake to produce stunning quilts. I am so excited about this book! It contains instructions for not only large/bed size quilts, but also wall, table and pillow size. I love that there are 18 different quilt patterns in just this one book. I purchased the first book, "Jelly Roll Quilts" 6 months ago, and have had great success with the instructions and ease of the quilts. The authors go to great lengths to help those who may be beginners with detailed pictures and diagrams for each step.I am so excited about this book! It contains instructions for not only large/bed size quilts, but also wall, table and pillow size. I love that there are 18 different quilt patterns in just this one book.
