Unfortunately it was dead on arrival, no "Focus Good" signal from the pickup, however I was able to repair it and get it running again thanks to a service manual I found. All in all happy with how this turned out, seller packed it well enough, it's just how shipping goes sometimes and old stuff is not always happy with being thrown about in the sorting centers, it's a risk you take. Thanks seller!

    You'd better switch to a newer platform. These DIMMs require too much power

    The picture is not good, the FBDIM modules have big heatsink on them because of the embedded memory controler. This is an outdated technology ram. They perform quite well but use too much energy and generate too much heat. You'd better switch to a newer platform.

    Does not work with all laptop vendors

    I tried installing to an HP 8540w Elite Workstation but to my surprise the memory timing did no work as a result I gave to a friend that had a later model. Tried everything bios upgrade settings never got it to work!
