    APC ES500 - Great Small UPS

    My APC ES500 is a workhorse and packs quite a wallop for its size (300W or 500VA). This one was a great buy because of its low price and great serviceability. These UPS's can last for many years, providing great service. I find that you need to replace the batteries approximately every 3 years or so, but aside from that, they can perform well for many more years than that. I am using this one to back up one of my computers and part of my home network. It's GREAT!!

    It is not usable.

    The unit does not operate as required and specified. The battery appears to be charged but the outlets do not provide emergency power when the main power is off or interrupted. It is not usable as intended.

    Well worth the money.

    The product works as suggested. No delay when power goes out. No spikes in data line, or power. I have a highly sensitive computer and this seems to keep things in order.
