Dandy little amplifier.
We use this with a laptop computer and a couple of old Radio Shack Optimus speakers. The only drawback is the male RCA jacks which you can find female to female adapters for very inexpensively.

Do not buy
Terrible distortion if volume is over half-way. Pure noise (can't tell it's music) at full volume. Had to cut the input (ordinary CD player) by 10dB to stop the distortion. -10dB is 68% reduction, making the output 4.74 watts into 4 ohms without distortion. Crappy 5 watt car radio amps sound better. I tried it with 3 sets of speakers, 4, 6 and 8 ohm. Same for all.

Small footprint stereo amp
Very simple and small which is what I was looking for. Sound is good no noticeable distortions. Could have a little more power. The only thing I would change on this is the 'Input RCA cable' would have rather had the chassis mounted female connectors. Price was good and they power up my little workshop speakers fine.

powerful little amplifier
The Pyle PCA1 2 Channel Amplifier worked great for my needs. I purchased a surround sound system after two years the amplifier burn up but the speakers where still working good. I ordered the first one and it performed good but was unable to push enough ohms to power four six speaker towers and a twelve inch woofer.
