About this product

Product Information

100% of The Late Show 's proceeds from this book go to disaster relief. Whose Boat Is This Boat? Comments That Don't Help in the Aftermath of a Hurricane is a picture book made entirely of quotations from President Donald Trump in the wake of Hurricane Florence. It is the first children's book that demonstrates what not to say after a natural disaster. On September 19, 2018, Donald Trump paid a visit to New Bern, North Carolina, one of the towns ravaged by Hurricane Florence. It was there he showed deep concern for a boat that washed ashore. "At least you got a nice boat out of the deal," said President Trump to hurricane victims. "Have a good time " he told them. The only way his comments would be appropriate is in the context of a children's book--and now you can experience them that way, thanks to the staff of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert . Whose Boat Is This Boat? is an excellent teaching tool for readers of all ages who enjoy learning about empathy by process of elimination. Have a good time

Words spoken by someone who has never has had a thought for others.

The author has a unique way with words. Bumbling, if I may. Heartfelt? Or maybe just clueless...

Cute, But Not $15 Worth of Cute. Only Recommend it Because it Helps Hurricane Victims

Cute, but not $15 worth of cute. I like Stephen Colbert, but I only recommend this because the proceeds go to help hurricane survivors. You'd do just as well to donate the money to them, outright.

  • Oh Man !! What a great reflection of the jokers we have on "The Hill" and their leader.

What a great tribute to our Commander And Chief whose mouth and brain is constantly out of synch !! He has no concept of what it means to work hard all your life, and lose everything in the blink of an eye. His total lack of compassion for those effected by the disaster in Florida is what prompted this book. What a great joke book about someone who is a joke.

  • Tain't much.

Cute, and that's about it. Does not say much, but then again there isn't much to say. I live in New Bern, NC, so I was familiar with Trump's visit and boo boos. It would be a good joke gift to someone who does not like him. I will add it to my collection of "odd" books. Will also be a good conversation piece.

  • Fantastic use of constant flubs we unfortunately hear from our President. Thanks to Stephen Colbert, et al, for such a wonderfu charity idea
