"A handy little light."
The Energizer Cap light has several small jobs that I use it for and it fills a niche at my house. It is bright enough for me with high and low settings and the red light has a nice flood beam to find your way around in the dark, without hurting your eyes. The cap mounting feature is added versatility as I already have a cap light. Push button makes it quick and easy to use, sturdy plastic or non metallic body helps for light weight, I have many aluminum lights so this just makes it a little different. AAA batteries last a reasonable amount of time, if you want longer run time and brighter light, use a bigger more powerful flashlight. Happy with my purchase. I love the fact that it uses AAA batteries and not them little cheap 2230 batteries that cost a lot. I also like the fact that it doesn’t use a headband I do not like them. The only drawback is the little red plastic piece sometimes they break. Other than that I love mine I have bought many over the years they last a long time. Are use the red light when I’m walking in and out of the woods deer hunting. The other two settings for the light come in handy as well it is very bright and works perfect when I am field dressing a deer. I am able to tilt it down so that I can see are use it at my work as well I am an electrician and it comes in handy when I’m working in panels that do not have lot. I highly recommend it. I love this little cap light. It’s my EDC I use it everyday! Number one reason is it only uses common AAA batteries. They last longer than them 2032 batteries it seems everyone is going too. Also I don’t have to worry about them straps that most other cap lights that have AAA batteries have on them. Never had any problems with water issues and it has two different settings for the White light. Low & high. 85 luminaries is plenty when out deer hunting. I especially like the red light setting it is a low profile light that lets you see in the dark but not enough to spook deer just around the corner. I bought these as gifts and not had one complaint.
