  • I Know It's Lame, But I Like It

I'm a huge Freddy Krueger enthusiast, but I'll be the first to tell you that the only one's in the Nightmare series worth a damn are the ones that Wes Craven sat in the director's chair for. That being said, I still love all the sequels...this one is no exception. Sure the script is garbage, the body count is low and the ending leaves a lot to be desired, but that doesn't mean there aren't things about this film that make it worthy of watching. Dream Child marks the triumphant return of Alice (my personal favorite Nightmare survivor) and Dan (although his return is short lived). The rest of the cast turns in decent performances and even if wisecracking Freddy is in full swing, it's still a joy to watch Robert Englund do his thing. Not only that, but the idea behind the crappy script ...

  • Probably the worst nighmare but ok

The fifth part of Nightmare on Elm Street is probably one of the worst parts but in my opinion it was ok. It is not even scary it's more comedic, which was the reason I bought the movie. The good parts it was funny, good effects for it's time eventhough it's cheesy and more than everything watching good old Freddy Kreuger. Overall I only recommend this to Nightmare on Elm Street fans who just want this part for having the whole collection.

  • Never a dull moment

Great part of the Freddy saga
