A Solid Set, if not a Collector's Item
Compared to hi-res rated pairs that go north of 40khz, this one's 28khz cap paints a mellow low and high end, at the expense of ruthless detail. Tuned pretty neutrally across the spectrum, but will deliver quite the oomph in the bass if you ask it to. Good soundstage. Superb build quality. The choice of materials, iconic. The cable is split in equal lengths and wound with a carbon-fibre-like material - not sure if it is. Comes with a pouch in the box.
