Very light weight macro lens
Although a macro lens, the light weight and small size of this lens goes well with the smaller E4xx Olympus DSLRs and I would expect it to also work well with micro four thirds, with a suitable adapter. I was surprised at how light this lens actually is. At F3.5 on a four thirds system it has a bit too great a depth of field to make it ideal as a portrait lens, but this disadvantage turns into an advantage when used in macro mode. I am insufficiently experienced to critically evaluate this lens, but it seems to me to do all that I expected it to do. Great Macro lens at a great price.
This is a great Macro lens at a great price. Works brilliant with my Olympus E-420 DSL camera.This lens is ideal for close up Macro work, but just as good for Portrait work in a home made studio, with or without th use of studio lighting.
