    Modern Collectible Tins by Linda McPherson, Second Ed

    Great pictures. Good start for beginning and mid level tin collectors. Estimated values steer the buyer toward making reasonable buys. Measurements given are accurate. Information about collecting tins is good for a beginner. As an advanced collector I still enjoy going back and marking the ones in the book that I have in my collection. There are more chapters in this second edition making it easier to focus on a specific kind of tin. Having used the first edition religiously as I collected I was disappointed at the number of tins in both editions and wish there were not so many tins repeated in the second edition. Linda McPherson's two books are the best I have found for MODERN collectible tins and I mention them often to others. It is time for a third edition.
