Ok Not Great!
I was a bit disappointed in this one..The acting was ok, the fight scenes seemed forced..a few times the Actors acted as if their weapons were too heavy for them to lift..but my biggest pet peeve was Tabithas played by Monica Cruz (little Sister of Penelope Cruz)constant use of the phrase "Oh God" she threw that and the phrase "good Lord" around throughout the film..not something a religious person would do!! Film begins with group of Romans setting out to prove or disprove the "Jesus of Nazareth story"..what they discover is miracles can and do happen..I felt the storyline was in keeping with traditional movies from this genre, the ending was not one I was expecting I loved the way they included Caligula, however the script was too out there..while it wont become a classic, if you love a ... Well, this is a Jesus film....starring DOLPH LUNDGREN!!!! That is why I bought it! Dolph in a beard and long hair....well that was worth the shipping costs alone!! The actual movie, well, let's just say I'm not a big fan of this genre, so, I won't really comment. But if you love Mr. Lundgren, then buy this film!! He says "Master" and fights with a battle axe. Need I say more???? :)

Once was enough for Final Inquiry
I am always on the lookout for quality family movies with a good message to be taken in and shared. The Final Inquiry had a great plot line - Roman emperor sending a trusted tribune to find out about the story of a resurrected Messiah. Unfortunately, the story doesn't live up to the plot line - some inconsistancies in the story line, overly brutal fight scenes, etc. took the enjoyment out of what could have been a great film. I watched it once, then got rid of it.I am always on the lookout for quality family movies with a good message to be taken in and shared. Final Inquiry
I saw this on one of the Christian channels just before Christmas in 2007. I did not know the name of the movie but I knew I had to see it all the way through again as it touched my heart. I did a Google search because I knew the actress looked like Penelope Cruz but I wasn't sure if it was her. It turns out it was her twin sister and I found the title of the movie as it was released in the US under a different title. I am so glad that I found it! I thoroughly enjoyed the movie and I will share it with my family and fellow church members. I am a historian by formal training so this story appealed to me. The acting, I thought, was superb; the story mesmerizing.
