Cabela's Alaskan Adventures (Xbox 360)
It is what it is. You're shooting fake animals, fishing, etc. I enjoy it. It's nothing super special. The ATV's and trucks don't drive like they do in Saint's Row or other games. Obviously this is not what the game is about. Some aspects are dumb and some of the voices get annoying, but overall it's fun. But again, it is what it is. If you feel like hunting from your living room this is fun. There are not online aspects other than downloads.It is what it is. You're shooting fake animals, fishing, etc. I enjoy it. Its average at best, Big Game Hunter and Outdoor Adventures much better.
This had great graphics and sound effects. The weapon and gear selection was good with a very functional fishing on it. The ease to hunt down animals was to easy, no matter the setting or mode . The animal attacks happen way too often too. Of all the Cabelas games, this is what I consider the worst. Now, if your looking for and easy hunt, with alot of wild animal attacks, this may be you. I found Big Game Hunter and Outdoors adventure by Cabelas alot better than this. You might even find them cheaper.This had great graphics and sound effects. Good for a short go
This game is fun, don't get me wrong but, you should be able to roam freely in the environment. Instead, you are locked into time challenges and quests. I do not like this because it takes away from the reality of the game. In real life you do not have a time limit, you just take your time and.....hunt. The rest of the game is very fun. Fishing, Hunting and even dog sled racing! The graphics are excellent, and sound is right on par. Game Play- 6 Graphics- 9.5 Sound- 8.5 Replayability- 8This game is fun, don't get me wrong but, you should be able to roam freely in the environment. WHAT DOESN'T THIS GAME DO? YOU FISH, HUNT, AND YOU CAN EVEN RACE SLEDS! THEY COVER EVERYTHING IN THIS GAME. IF YOU LIKE THE OTHER CABELA'S ADVENTURE GAMES, THEN YOU'LL LOVE THIS ONE. YOU EVEN GET A FREE "OUTDOORS MAGAZINE" SUBSCRIPTION WITH THIS ONE. I RECOMMEND THIS GAME FOR ALL...

Needs Better and More Fishing!
I expected more fishing, and better graphics, It takes too long to get everywhere and you have to keep loading things :( I was enjoyable at times but frustrating at others. Graphics and game felt cheap and out dated for a 360 game . Not really as happy as I wanted to be with it. The fishing parts are a bit lame having a timer on them . You have like 4 minutes each time you want to attempt fishing and it runs out too fast. The hunting is slow and sub par graphics .
