Rating: PG Oscar is a scrubber at the whale wash, but dreams of becomming someone & wants to be on the top of the reef where the somebodys all live.When his boss tells him he has one day to pay him back his IOU's he turns to Angie a receptionist at the car wash to help him.Little does he know that Angie has a secret crush on him! She gives him a rare pink pearl to sell to be able to pay back his boss.When he goes to meet his boss at a seahorse race he gets a hunch from someone talking about a seahorse that is suppost to win & bets all his clams on it, just when it looks like the seahorse is going to win, it looses.Oscar is sent ...

    Cute for kids

    My daughter really likes the movie. She thinks it's funny and entertaining. She especially likes singing the song "Don't Worry ...". The actors who do the voices are perfect for their characters. The movie does teach a couple of lessons of course and my favorite lesson of the movie is with Lenny and his father. It teaches children and adults to love someone for who they are, appreciate them for their good qualities and don't try to change them. Overall it is an entertaining movie for children and should be part of their collection they will enjoy it and want to watch it repeatedly.

    Shark Tale (DVD, 2005, Full Frame)

    Oscar is a fast-talking little fish who dreams big. But his big dreams land him in hot water when a great white lie turns him into an unlikely hero. At first, his fellow fish swallow Oscar's story hook, line and sinker and he is showered with fame and fortune. It's all going along swimmingly, until it starts to become clear that Oscar's tale about being the defender of the Reef is all wet. Oscar is finding out that being a hero comes at a Market Price when his lie threatens to make him the Catch of the Day. Now he has to tread water until he can get the scales to tip back in his favor again. This movie is a solid family entertainment to enjoy.

    My 2.5 year old loves it!

    My little girl was in love with Finding Nemo and someone suggested this movie as another underwater diversion. Since it arrived, she requests it over and over again - even when Nemo is an option. For adults considering this flick, I would say that it does not even come close to the clever tale and graphics of Finding Nemo, but the music is fun, the story moves along at a good pace and it is highly entertaining.
