it is very interesting and included every thing and personal feelings of the troops that were there fighting the Vietnam war.
The DVD showed what the war was about and the DVDs explained every thing during those years. I went on three deployments to Vietnam and I was probably not aware of why we were there. The DVD was very informational to me, and I enjoyed watching the history of that era.

Lots of high quality video, well worth the price, better than expected
Normally thses inexpensive DVD box sets are a disappointment, with low quality footage, minimal menu functions, lots of old grainy black and white video, and overall short run time. So my expectations were pretty low for this set considering the low price (less than $1 per disc delivered). But I was pleasantly surprised to find this set packed full of high quality footage, most of it in color and professionally produced, with good quality narration and ample menu functions. Total run time was great too, in fact there was so much stuff that I will need to watch it all again a second time to catch things that I missed. The purchaser should keep in mind that this is a collection of different videos, some of which are sold separately under other title names with different cover jackets. So if ... I have seen a few critical comments about this set, most of which complain about a few discs which focus on interviews with actual veterans. For the life of me I can't see what they would complain about, as those are some of the best sections in the set! How else do you expect to get to know what it was really like, than to talk with someone that was actually there? About the only critique I could raise is that the interview discs have very little film footage weaved in with the discussion, and it would have been nice if they had added a bit more such as photos from the personal collection of these veterans to help bring their stories to life. But all in all this set was a super value and is highly recommended. In fact I have purchased 10 sets to give to friends. Enjoy.

Interesting and good value
Besides History Channel stuff, there doesn't seem to be any real good videos of the war....just propaganda from both sides. It is lengthy, so I consider it a good value. Shipping was quick.
