    Pouring Blood and love.

    I have to say that I love Anime/Japanimation and I like Highlander so I had to see Highlander: The Search for Vengeance. This movie have a Christianity theme to it, it have the Immortals and even Reincarnation. I personally do not believe in Reincarnation but it makes you feel good to have it in this movie because a love between a man and a woman will not end so easy by death. There is action with gushing blood, love & friendship and a moral lesson to be learned. I would have loved it to be 30 minutes more. This movie is good for a rental or even a good buy and there need to be a sequel.

    A Miss For Highlander Fans But Great For Anime Fans.

    This movie could have been so much better. Instead of focusing on the original series or movies the writers decided on creating an entirely new cast of characters. Fans of the Highlander series should not expect to enjoy this move as they have the series. Anime fans, on the other hand, should watch this movie and then watch the first Highlander movie with Christopher Lambert to really appreciate it and see just how awesome the series is. I won't spoil the movie too much, but the main hero of the story dies a little too much for my taste and just barely keeps his head in the end. I watched this movie about a month ago and was very disappointed with how the story flowed. For some reason it just didn't feel like the Highlander I knew and loved. I loved the fact that there was an anime movie ...

    Hmm *shrugs shoulders*

    I'm a huge fan of the Highlander series and movies so this was right up my alley. I've seen other mangas by the same director and that excited me as well that he was doing this. It's all in all pretty good and their are some great one-liners. In a way though it is too short, or too much of the story is spent elsewhere, so even though all the past flash-backs were meant to strengthen the plot and the protagonist's outline, you still don't really feel involved in it. Good watch nonetheless though.

    this film is AMAZING. anybody a fan of the series highlander, especially anyone who enjoys great anime production. This comes from one of my favorite anime directors that has envisioned Vampire Hunter D, Ninja Scroll, and part of the animatrix (other flawless productions). Incredible film and translation of the story itself, but also beautifully rendered. I more amazed that this came out last year, and I didnt hear about it, But i'm glad I finally did. You cant go wrong with this. It doesnt matter how much you spend on this, because anything will make it well worth it. the dvd has great extras too. DON'T SLEEP ON THIS!
