Role-players return to the world that Lightning struck in Final Fantasy XIII-2. Many iconic Final Fantasy monsters can be tamed to fight alongside the heroes.<br><br>The sequel tells the story of Serah, sister of the main character Lightning from the original Final Fantasy XIII. Three years after the city in the sky fell toward Pulse, a strange meteorite throws Serah's peaceful village into deadly chaos. Time is warped, and vicious monsters invade. Her young life is spared from this onslaught by a mysterious traveler called Noel. A hunter from the future, he tells Serah that he can take her to her sister, who awaits in another place and time.<br><br>The Final Fantasy XIII-2: Collector's Edition comes in special packaging that includes a 20-page book of artwork culled throughout the game's development. The special edition also comes with a four-CD soundtrack that includes background music featured throughout the game.

    This is the cheapest collectors edition of a Final Fantasy game that fans can get at the moment and it's a great buy. The game itself is fun and with the collectors edition you get a high quality case and a great soundtrack as well.

    Great Addition To A Collector's Collection

    Being a collector of Final Fantasy Games, this was an excellent addition to the collection, especially in comparison to the collector's version which released in EUR. This edition had more features (full soundtrack, mini art book) all in cased within a nicely designed digi-pack case, which was rendered with Yoshitaka Amano's artwork. The only thing that I would improve on this product is expanding the art book, otherwise it is a perfect collector's edition! I wouldn't dive into the depths of reviewing this game, but despite its lack of popularity, this game surpasses its predecessor, it maintains the traditional battle system of the Final Fantasy series while improving the exploration field in this game.
