  • An Excellent Book, Everything in it is true.

This book is an excellent autobiography of a great war hero who survived during 2 tours of Vietnam, showed his true leadership in the Grenada conflict, and is the hero general of desert shield and storm. I served under him in Desert shield/storm, and he took the time after our victory in the Gulf to personally address all the soldiers involved. I never knew he was responsible for constructing the Burger King on FT. Stewart, Georgia, which I ate at many times. The book is an amazing telling of how he came up through the ranks from a West Point cadet to an Army General and leader of all soldiers. I wasn't stationed at Ft Stewart while he was the Division Commander, but the great changes he made for soldiers and their families had survived from his inspiration while he was there. ...
