Worked great to install CloudReady (Chromebook)
This is a 40GB drive. It is too low capacity for a Windows 10 computer. I used it to convert a laptop from Windows 10 to a Chromebook using CloudReady. When it arrived it had a thick plastic ring mounted on one side with screws. It was too thick to fit in my Lenovo X130e laptop. I removed the ring and replaced the cover with some shorter screws. It then fit perfectly into my computer. It was a Windows 7 computer converted to Windows 10. It was slow and would hang in places. I kept the original drive with Windows 10 and replaced it with this drive installing Chrome OS. The computer is now many many times faster. It went from a patience tester to a rather nice computer. I just received this SSD and it is much faster then my 1TB hard drive I had been using! It’s not very large capacity wise but it works perfectly for a boot drive!
