    GREAT AIRPLANE ALBUM

    The title of this album pretty much sums it up-SURREALISTIC PILLOW. The title was rumored to have been created by Jerry Garcia during a conversation with his friends from JEFFERSON AIRPLANE. SURREALISTIC PILLOW embodies the spirit of the music scene in San Fran in 67 perfectly. From the drugs(acid was a fave at the time), to the free love, to the musical revolution-SURREALISTIC PILLOW captures it all perfectly. JEFFERSON AIRPLANE recorded the spirit of 67 perfectly for the world to enjoy indefinately. This is one of my favorite AIRPLANE albums! With Grace just joining the band-she sounds like she has been with them the whole time. Her voice is hypnotizing and magical. Grace's presence is huge on this album.
