Simultaneously celebrating and poking good-natured fun at the Las Vegas era of Elvis's career, director Denis Sanders often just sits back and lets the performances speak for themselves. The film includes the King preparing offstage for his 1970 tour and culminates in his opening night performance in Las Vegas. The film includes more than 30 of the King's fabulous songs.

    ELVIS......Wow great concert

    First time seeing Elvis on this concert. I see why my Mother ( and everyone else) loved him so much. Besides being a great singer,humanitarian, giving,kind person,his charisma is off the charts!dvd not o my shows concert but behind the scenes rehearsing,talking and joking around,not only beautiful,but with a great sense of humor. Like getting to know a person you never knew.

    Do not buy this, unless your a ELVIS die-hard Fan...

    Well, I have heard about this documentary/concert film for awhile. And thought since it was re-mastered, it might be great, and Elvis in his hey-day in Vegas. Well, was I disappointed!!! First, the sound-quality is awful.!! I don't care if they say Dolby 5.1 or whatever, it's not clear at all. It's not the worst in the world, but when you want to hear Elvis's voice, you want CLEAR, this is just not enough for me. Second, they list some songs that say are sung in the film. Well, Elvis only partially sings these, in his studio.! I wanted "bridge over troubled waters", and only got a few lines in his studio no less.!! Also, The film quality is little grainy, It is not high quality. Also, Elvis is goofing off in almost every song he sings on stage.! I like Elvis when he is serious singing. ...

    What a fantastic show! Whether you're old or young, if you like Elvis at all, you will love this. It's Elvis in his prime during his residency in Las Vegas. Plus lots of vintage Las Vegas scenes.

    Wonderful memories.

    As a 16 yr old girl I was at his concert in 1970. My aunt and I were way up in the cheap seats but enjoyed every minute of the show. This DVD brought back wonderful memories with behind the scene interviews and some great personal glimpses into Elvis lifestyle even his nervous anticipation of the show.
