Very nice coin. Package arrived with "$0.48 postage due". See attached picture.
When I called the post office, they said I had to pay all of the postage ($1.12) because I had already opened the package.
If I had not opened the package before going to the post office, my options would have been:
a) reject the package and it would go back to the seller with $0.48 + $1.12 postage due
b) accept the package and pay the $0.48
Tip: don't open a package that has postage due before going to USPS
