Inexpensive, good start, for teen
My daughter decided she wanted to take up sewing. This is perfect for her. Digital display for techie generation, but not too many options to overwhelm the beginning hobbyist. She loves it, and was able to get started, without much instruction, right out of the box.

ES2000 is wonderful
My experience with Brother products has always been excellent, and I am delighted with my Brother ES2000 computerized sewing machine. It's surprisingly light weight, but does not move across my table as I sew, which is great. There are many stitch options, all of which are so easy to access. The decorative stitches are a nice bonus. The machine comes with a number of feet, and many more are available. I have purchased additional feet for specialty work. Getting the proper thread tension on flimsy fabrics is, I have found, a little tricky, so be sure to experiment on a scrap of the fabric before you tackle the project. (It helps to use tissue paper under fabrics that might otherwise get stuck in the feed dogs.) This machine comes with a foot pedal but may also be operated with ... GREAT SEWING MACHINE EASY TO USE
Everythig is right a you finer tips. Easy to use. I bought it because I had an older modle and want more feature to use. Sews great easy to change tension and bring it back to normal. sews through severl thickness, even sewed on a wedding dress and no needle make on fabric. Runs great LOVE IT!!!

Brother sewing machine, great value, superior performance
I have only tried this machine once, but I was very impressed by the ease of it's performance. I haven't used a sewing machine in many years, and was concerned I would be all thumbs, but the instructions that came with this sewing machine were a joy to follow and fantastic for a novice like me. I highly recommend this machine to everyone.

Awesome Sewing Machine - Great Seller
I bought this machine for my daughter to learn how to sew. I was very was very impressed with the number of features on the machine for the price. Did not like the fact that the machine was mostly plastic, but for the money you can't beat it. My daughter was very happy Christmas when she open the sewing machine and can't wait to start sewing.
