    Canon EVF - DC2

    This is an item that really should be sold as part of an EOS M6 kit. As a separate brand new item it is outrageously expensive. I was never going to buy a new item - but I got lucky and found a slightly used item on eBay at a third of the price. Happy happy

    I am ambivalent about the EVF-DC2.

    I see two blue pixels when I shoot something with a dark background. Canon says it's not repairable. I probably would have been better off buying the EOS 90D instead of this and the M6 Mark II. I'm not sure if it is a good value until I use it more in battle. It is very light and plastic and has a couple stuck pixels so I'm thinking it is not durable.

    Works well but too expensive!

    Glad I bought this. Fairly sharp for an electronic viewfinder. Hand to have when using a mirror less camera like the Canon M series in bright sunlight. Fastens and locks into the hot shoe nicely. The auto detection that turns off the camera screen and turns on the evf works very well. It just seems very expensive for what it does. It’s like buying another lens!

    An okay EVF, but Canon should do better...

    It's an ok EVF, but I feel like the color is ever so slightly off, and the image blurs a lot when panning. Overall, okay for the systems it was designed for..
