Amanda Seyfried stars in this dark retelling of the classic LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD fable, set in a medieval village where a werewolf has been terrorizing the citizens. Though the night has become a more and more dangerous time for the villagers, who never know when the beast will leave more bodies strewn in its wake, Valerie is a girl on the brink of womanhood, and is so preoccupied with her love and lust for an orphaned woodcutter that she risks leaving herself vulnerable -- both literally and figuratively. Meanwhile, the townspeople hire a werewolf hunter (Gary Oldman) to track down the monster and kill it before it wreaks more bloody havoc. But as suspicions brew, the people of the once peaceful town begin to turn on each other, letting the innocence of their formerly happy community fall further and further into the past.

It came on time and came as described-but the teeth on both sides of the bonus disc were crumbling down. All of the discs played with no skips or imperfections (except the bonus disc which the bonus disc was recorded with imperfections). The communications should really be 1 star because they never responded to me when I asked or a discount-but because they lowered their price I will give 2 stars for communication.

    A prequel to Twilight?

    Amanda Seyfried stars in this very dark look at the Little Red Riding Hood Fable. Its the story of a town that lives in constant fear of the warewolf that has been hunting the residents for decades. The town finally decides to make a stand and they set out to kill the warewolf, just then a werewolf hunter (Gary Oldman) arrives to rid the town once and for all of the warewolf. This movie has nothing to do with the fairy tale and reminded me of the new vampire movies like Twilight. In fact this could easily be mistaken for a prequel to that series. Overall the story was good, the acting was above average and I would recommend this to anyone who enjoyed Twilight.     This movie was excellent. It was dark, thrilling, full of suspense and action. It was really good and very well done. I love watching this movie. And I would gladly recommend it to the people I know
