    Great compressor with options.

    The DBX 266XS is a classic compressor that’s easy to use and works very well. Mine is installed in an audio rack to compress vocals via the inserts. It can also be used as a side chain compressor or on the main outs, depending on your needs. All around a good compressor.

    sounds great

    It's best use is for live application but it sounds great and can be used for recording, the 266xl had some issues but it seems as if they resolved it all with the 266xs, works great on vocals and guitar as well. you cannot go wrong with this for fine tuning a track or your live sound.
