Bio Sponge filter
I use these filters along with a power filter in my tanks. Every time I replace the filter pad in the power filter I disrupt the biological process. With a Bio Sponge filter in the tank I can keep the biological process going. They are also great for fry tanks as they won't suck up the fry. They are easy to clean when the time comes, and they don't plug up like filters that use air stones. I would recommend them.I use these filters along with a power filter in my tanks. My bio filter review
The suction cups will wear out first and after asking multiple vendors for a pack of replacement suction cups I have received no reply which is rude. The design if the filter is genius! The bubbles come out at a 90 degree angle so there is zero splashing. Other designs exit straight up and make a huge mess on the glass/plastic tops. The bubbles are also diffused so ,if set up properly a current can be created to pick up debris off a glass bottom tank. There are 2 cleanable foam filters which is genius! Clean one at a time to always keep a healthy supply of nitrosomus bacteria flourishing in your filter. Nitrosomus bacteria consumes the waste the fish produce naturally. Always clean the filter in a bucket of actual tank water and Never clean them under tap or well water. After 2 weeks of ...
