it wasn't precisely a direct replacement. i had to work and make some adjustments (modifications) to make it fit. the color was different from my stock unity. the release and retract mechanism was dirty and sticky. it operates as though it's not properly lubricated or its age is past it's serviceable life.

I would never recommend "making adjustments or modifications" to fit a safety device such as a seat belt. You this 2006-2011 Honda civic sedan Seat belt for a 2012 Honda Civic Coupe, of course it is not going to fit! My listing very clearly states that this seat belt will fit 06-11 Honda Civic Sedan models ONLY. I'm sorry the seat belt was dirty i do my best to clean them but you have to remember, you are buying a belt from a almost 20 year old car. Please reply to my message I will compensate.
