    One of the funniest movies ever

    Even though the Critics did not like it, 1941 was one of the funniest movies ever made. The case was top notch with John Belushi, Dan Ankroyd, Robert Stack, Slim Pickens and many many others. One of the funniest scenes was at the start where the skinny dipper swims out recreating the opening scene from Jaws, but with a hilarious outcome. The same actress from Jaws was also in this scene. This DVD has a ton of special features along with a feature length Making Of biography. This DVD also has the Directors Cut with over 20 minutes that never appeared in the Theatrical Release.

    1941 movie cuts to too many disconnected scenes too much.

    Good quality DVD disc, doesn't skip, stop or jerk. I thought the movie itself wasn't what I expected, --no reflection on the seller. I guess I should have seen the movie when it came out in 1979. Maybe I could have related to it better. Not one of Spielberg's best movies-- for me anyway.

    "Pure Nostalgia from 1979."

    As a movie fan of anything from within the 1900s to 2000s-- I love watching bonus features to see how the film was made, watching the trailers and reading productions notes for film studying.
