    Tank seam interferes with hose seal

    When the tank is made, the parting seam splits the top half and bottom half of the hose connection. By simply connecting the hose as intended it will leak slowly. Clamping it doesn't help. I had to shave the excess plastic mold seams and use a sealer to get it to stop seeping. The hose barb is poorly shaped and deformed. I almost sent the tank back but I fixed it myself.

    It's a perfect fit.

    I had a fire in the engine compartment of my 1982 Pontiac Bonneville Brougham. Anything plastic melted. Old car parts are hard to find. I was excited when I found this reservoir. The only bad thing was that the bottle did NOT come with a bottle top. Seems to me that it should have been included. But no worries. I found the bottle top on another website.

    OEM Quality

    It fit perfectly, looks right and functrions properly. They should have provided the lid for the price charged, 2.5 times the universal tanks which come with everything. Because GM G Bodies have a weird dimension and spot for the tank, the OEM one is best suited to easy installation even though it costs more.
