    Great CD for modern day Winger...

    It looks like Winger after all of those years without releasing a new album had come back continuing on the more serious side like with previous release 'Pull.' The biggest thing I've noticed with this CD is that not only does it have the 'Pull' feel to it, but it also ties in a lot of Kip Winger's solo music as well. So with me being a fan of both Winger & Kip Winger, it's fitting that 'IV' brings the best of both worlds. Stand out tracks are "Four Leaf Clover," "Your Great Escape," "Disappear," "Livin' Just to Die," "Short Flight to Mexico," & "Can't Take it Back."

    a solid effort

    well after nearly 17 years the original lineup of winger put out a solid effort.it has it's moments and it's letdowns.most of the songs are well crafted but seem to be missing something.at best 3 songs are memorable.reb beach of course still shines on guitar.as does kip winger vocally.however as a songwriter they seem to have kind of lost their youthfulness.age will do that to you.still compared to the music put out in the last 5 years it stands out to any nostalgic fan.they are not the same band they once were but still a worthwhile group.i just hope they put out some more music.afterall 17 years is along time to wait for a reunion album.it is worth buying mainly for the 80's rock fan.it will just take time to grow on you.enjoy,jsun.

    Good album to check it out.

    Everything looks like new. It plays everything, but it has a small dot on the cd. I don't know if it affects the cd, but it did affect on the last song at the end.

    EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    This album is recorded very well, All the instuments come through loud and clear,nothing is buried or lost in the background. This is their best album. I have a lot of respect for this band.they had the hell beat out of them when the alternative music hit like a lot of other bands only more so because of a cartoon that the creater of that cartoon decided to put the name winger on the nurdy kids shirt. I remember my younger brothers friends seeing my winger cd's with my other cd's and saying winger sucks and acting like bevis and butthead.I asked them if they had ever listen to them and they had not!!! So I had my brother let them listen to winger's PULL album and tell them it was a new band called TEMPEST.THEY LOVED IT!!!Then he told them it was winger!!! It was great. That was 12 years ...
