Works as designed, simple to install
Investigating the failure of the Jandy spa heater's err F4, the igniter had failed. Replaced the igniter and the spa worked twice with new igniter and existing Universal Power Control Board. 2nd failure F4 code, chk OHM resistance at igniter, all good, chk voltage from power supply to board, all good. Diagnostic flow chart then indicated to replace the Power Control Board. Investigating the power control board, found a thread that if you replace the power control board BE SURE to replace the power conversion board that plugs into the Power Control Board. One person in the thread indicated Jandy support had given him that information after the new Power Control Board had 'burned up'.
