    Purchased this 3-emitter follower version to update my JVC JA-S22 which uses STK-0040 output stages. I confirm it works a charm with 48V rails. The kit is very well documented, packed and is also easy to follow. The machining on the aluminium plate is superb. Sound impressions thus far are positive: together with other modifications the bass is very impressive though the unique high frequency timbre seems somewhat different....
