Typical WD hard drive, pretty good
It is a mechanical hard drive. I got it for my wife's old Dell laptop and it did not work. It was not the hard drive's fault, but other issues. I will keep it for future use as an external hard drive. It's typical mechanical hard drive with speed and noise. None of those mechanical hard drives are reliable compared to newer hard drive versions out now.
