Great little train set. The first carriage is the motor drive. It pushes the loco. Spring missing in the coupler, so had to find another. Not a problem and out of the sellers control.

    Cute little mountain railway set.

    Great little train, perfect for diorama construction. Cute little engine. Electric motor is in second carriage so engine can't run by itself. Great detail for such a small set. Whilst the product is reasonably durable I don't think it is suitable for ages less than 8 years old.

    Great little train

    I was worried at first since I just put the engine on and nothing happened when I gave it power. The motor is in the passenger car. Great looking train. No skipping and runs smooth.

    Excellent quality and craftsmanship

    These little pocket line trains from Kato are awesome, I have two in my collection and keep hunting down the rest of the line. The detail that is packed into the locomotive is amazing, and the power unit runs incredibly smooth and quiet, it's almost difficult to hear the little d.c. motor whirling away. I absolutely recommend this, and all n scale trains manufactured by Kato.
