    The Icom 735 is a great little Amateur Transceiver.

    This is a great performing antique radio. With a little patience, research and tlc it can be made into a long-lasting transceiver with good reports. Many of this model suffer from long term shifts in component values, but in my experience there is very little parts replacement - mostly adjustments, cleaning and fine tuning. Also replacement of major components is still possible by searching the classified ads. I have owned and still own several of this model.

    My new old Icom-735

    I’m quite pleased with the transceiver, it has worked flawlessly so far. The appearance of the radio was actually better than i expected, judging from the photos. All the controls and adjustment knobs are smooth and in good working order. I’m very happy with my purchase!!!
