    The Mac Killer

    This was nicknamed the "Mack Killer" because it was as good as if not better than any Mcintosh amp that came out while this amp was produced at a fraction of the cost. This amp also has the ability to be a quadraphonic controller with the addition of a sq decoder and a second amp. One of Sony's best. I see this was reviewed as kida gutless only because of lower watts This is so not true. Check out what is said on hifi engine about these units.

    Sony ta1150

    Sound quality is excellent and it has excellent build quality. These were build back in the day when all of the manufactures were is completion to build the sounding amplifiers

    Kinda Gutless

    Pay up for the much better TA-1130. The 1150 only has 35 watts per channel rms. The pushbuttons are problematic also. Just not great sounding like the TA-1130. $200 tops mint is all its worth
