5 Star Seller ***** SUPER Fast Shipping, Packaged Safely in a manilla bubble envelope, Accurate Description, Great Communication.. I would definitely buy from this seller again. Thank You!!! :) This NES 5-screw Golf cart is in excellent condition except for a slight discoloration along the beveled edge below the thin title edge. If not for that I would say this was in mint condition. This is a welcome addition to my collection and thank you for offering this high-quality cart.

Old School Rocker Compares Digital BOSS-PH3 to Vintage Analog Maestro Phase Shifter

Okay, I am an old school rocker who used vintage equipment when it was "state of the art". I loved my analog Maestro Phase Shifter that had 3 on-off switches, but after 40 some odd years, it was no longer useable. So I looked for a replacement of that great 70's/80's sound. I read lots of reviews and decided on this BOSS-PH3 Phase Shifter. It certainly works well, and has a myriad of adjustment variables, but as such, it takes a lot to adjust it to where I get the amount of phase that I want. Using it live with the unit on the floor, as it is meant to be used, it is impossible to make changes to the phase between songs, so that is where I find it has its biggest limitation. However, if you are going to use only one phase setting for everything, this is perfect for you.

  • Great pedal - tweakable, good sound

Decided to buy this because it was more tweakable than the Small Stone. I heard the Small Stone nano has the best phaser sound, and it's very compact for your pedal board, but after checking out demo vids of this it won out for it's far superior customizability (is that a word?) This pedal can get the older phase tones (set it to 4 or 8) through the years of phaser development up to a really thick phase (10 or 12). It's also got this really sick rise and fall feature. I have been messing around with this a lot (I use this for my saxophone, not guitar) and I've been getting some really sick sounds out of it. I don't even feel like I"m halfway into it yet. Great pedal!

  • Very Flexible Phase Shifter

This pedal offers a wide range of great phase shifter sounds from very subtle to in-your-face jet swooshes to arpeggiator type stutters. I originally bought this as a back up but I decided to put it on my pedal board instead of a boutique phase shifter that I also bought.

  • Great tonal options but has at least one flaw.

I an torn on this pedal. There are pros and cons as there are with many things. On the positive side, there are seemingly infinite tones that can be achieved with this pedal. It can adjusted to give a great approximation of a vintage Phase 90 all the way to tones I have never heard before. It sounds great and offers so many different options that settling on one that you like the most is the most difficult part. On the negative side, and the reason I only give this pedal 3 stars, is the switching on/off of the effect. Perhaps I recieved a bad unit, but whenever I switched the unit on/off, there was a momentary muting of the guitar tone. The switching was not seemless. Said another way, the effect would momentarily mute my toone and then the effect would be present of momentarily mute and ...

  • Awesome pedal! I was iffy whether to order or not, but glad I did!

I was kind of skeptical about buying this seeing that my band only plays country and southern rock. Glad I went ahead and purchased though. Sounds awesome! The "step" mode is something that really got my attention. Set the rate down and it sounds like 5 guitars are playing in the background haha. I also was amazed at how many different modes it has. Overall a great pedal and is pretty versatile. Just have to mess around with settings and you'll find something to fit the genre of music you're playing.
