    worth to buy

    I would like to agree with previous writers. The book has instructions for both beginners and advanced lampworking. It has very clear descriptions and illustrations. It is a good book for artist who is looking for new fresh ideas and technique. It consists with instruction for soft glass bead makers and also has some thing for borosilicate glass bead makers. Book has very helpful suggestions about setting up your studio and basic kiln information. Do not forget to have a fun.

    Creating Lampwork Beads for Jewelry by Karen Leonardo

    The book has instructions for beginner, intermediate and advanced lampworking. It has very clear descriptions and illustrations. It is a good book for starting and improving lampworking skills. Also this book had very helpful suggestions about setting up your studio and basic kiln information. This book was one of the many recommended by my teacher and I'm glad I bought it.

    Nice Pics

    I have not found a class to take, but want a general idea of how the process works. Just flipping through, I love the book... Large colorful pics and lots of "helpful tips." With my limited, "newbie" knowledge, I would reccommend this book.

    Creating Lampwork Beads or Jewelry by Karen Leonardo

    This is a great reference guide for people considering making glass beads. It won't do a thing for anyone that is advanced. Ton of fun projects for all different levels but geared toward the beginner. Good pictorial. Excellent, step-by-step processes.

    Great book---enjoying it very much

    Awesome! This book is full of some great ideas, has some details about how the beads are made. I have alot of books of this type and this one is going to be one of my favorites.
