About this product

Product Information

"Killer7" for the Nintendo GameCube gives players the chance to take on the role of a trained assassin in a futuristic, alternate version of Earth. "Killer7" is the name of this game because you get to play as each of the seven distinct split personalities of main character Harman Smith. Players must explore this world, solve puzzles, and ultimately carry out a hit on mob boss Kun Lan by strategically harnessing the power of these killer personalities. Each personality in "Killer7" has at least one unique skill that can be used when needed. Some personalities are more powerful than others. It is up to the player to decide which one is best for the job at hand, giving you many opportunities to create your own strategy that makes the most of Harman Smith's killer characters."Killer7," which had an original release date in 2005, gives GameCube players a glimpse into the intriguing world of film noir with mostly black-and-white graphics and minimal use of color that emphasizes the action. You'll enjoy mastering the action adventure and shooter elements of this single-player game. With its on-rails distinction, players move around the screen as the game follows a set path. When you arrive at an intersection, you can choose which way to go. As the action moves along, you'll uncover a conspiracy that involves Japan's role in the politics of the United States. The innovative visual style from creator Goichi Suda adds to the enjoyment of this video game. Expect to become absorbed in the evocative, moody story that the artistic design of this game helps create. Winning this game is not just about shooting up your enemies; problem-solving puzzles and unforgettable characters provide a complete gameplay experience. The soundtrack consists mostly of techno music that changes to a slower beat to match certain parts of the game and plot.GameCube players can enjoy hours of fun with "Killer7." The settings range from normal to hard, which gives players the opportunity to enjoy a more challenging version of gameplay once they get the hang of it. Beating the game on the hard version unlocks a hidden game mode called Killer8 that has only one difficulty setting to play: very hard. For players who like a challenge, this feature is for you.Player controls are easy to learn and become intuitive early in the game. Playing on the normal setting provides abundant hints and suggestions for the player. Auto Aim makes it simpler to hit your targets when you use this normal setting. If you want a more challenging gaming experience, you can start out playing on the hard version."Killer7" is rated M for Mature. The main character is assassin Harman Smith, so it should come as no surprise that the action of "Killer7" is graphic and bloody in nature. Players can shoot off various body parts of their enemies and even blow entire bodies to bits. Blood is used as a tool that can be collected, traded, and used throughout the story. The politically charged plot and intriguing story line of "Killer7" make for an engaging action-adventure experience.

The item is exactly as pictured by the seller. I reached out with a question and received a quick response. It was also posted at a reasonable price, and upon inspecting after it was received, I've found it to be in an excellent condition! I purchased these 2 rings from this seller (as pictured) and both are very beautiful! I highly recommend this seller! Both items arrived to my address quicker than expected. I will definitely purchase more items from this seller again in the near future!

    Great game retro evolution

Game has a great vibe and presentation is off the charts and also has great retro feel and the gameplay is sort of loose but still good and it does a GameCube Justice cuz the PS2 version was horrible

  • Don't listen to other reviewer

Now, im not even going to bother going into specifics - this game is too mature and, I suppose, weird to really explain... or to at least for me to be bothered explaining. If you want to know what the professionals think (ie. not other guy)how about these comments from gamespot.com: The Good: Mind-melting plot and story sequences will make you talk; impressively stylized presentation; lengthy adventure offers added replay value; outstanding soundtrack. The Bad: Mature-themed content sometimes feels forced ; simplistic action and puzzle-solving can get tedious; some noticeable shortcomings in an otherwise-great presentation. score: 8.3/10 (http://au.gamespot.com/gamecube/action/killer7/review.html) IGN.com: ...

  • Great game, but takes some getting used to

This game isn't for everyone, but if you think it could be for you, I urge you to buy it. The control scheme isn't intuitive at all, and you could easily play through the entire game without a clue to what's going on. And that's how it's supposed to be. But if you're willing to muddle through the first hour of playing, you've got a gem of a game to play with. You're immersed into a gritty world of cel shaded graphics, voilence, and enemies from another realm entirely. A blast to play, and definately worth playing many times over. Oh, and as a warning, Killer 7 is truly intended for a mature audience, with very strong violence, language, and underlying messages.

  • Strange?.. Yes.... Fun?.. ABSOLUTELY!!!

First, you should know this game has very mature themes. This includes strong language and sexual references. Contrary to other reviews regarding this game, I found the control mechanics are not at all difficult...just the standard 5 to 10 minute learning curve you experieince with any new game. In fact, I found the control layout to be very similar to Resident Evil 4 for the Game Cube. This game is so wonderfully unique I'm not sure where to begin. First the graphics. While I'm not a big fan of cell shaded formats, this is the perfect choice for such a surreal game. It sets the stage for total emersion. This is further complimented by the mechanical gibberish most of the non-playable characters speak. The game is simple: Kill the menancing, creatively designed bad guys (called ...

  • Killer 7

Heard it was a great game so I thought I'd give it a shot. The game style is very unique and the controls are very different but you get used to it very quickly. It is an on rails game, meaning you move a preset path, but don't let that discourage you there is still a lot you have to do in the game such as explore, puzzle solve and backtrack, don't think that its just a shooter with a start and finish with non stop moving because it isn't. A warning, it is not mentioned in most descriptions or in the game but in my opinion the game shouldn't be rated M because of the blood, sex, profanity, etc. but for the theme and story. Most people can play the game without trying to understand the story because they just want to play the game, but if you do try to understand the story you are in ...
