    My Neighbor Totoro

    This sweet, charming story is captivating to any age audience but especially very little children! My daughter would watch it over & over again when I would rent it on VHS from our local library “back in the day”. Remembering this, I began searching for it on eBay, to keep the tradition going. I was delighted I found it & so purchased it. When it arrived I wasted no time in showing it to my 2 yr old grand daughter on her next visit, & she was mesmerized almost from the start (me too I might add!) Though she didn’t sit still for the whole thing she kept coming back to it & truly watched most of it by the time it was over.     My neighbor totoro

    Great animated movie to watch with the whole family especially for kids!! The characters are really engaging and there is some drama going on as well(mom is sick at hospital). The family in the story a dad taking care of his two daughters move to a new house out in the countryside where the girls start exploring and the smallest stumbles upon a magical forest where a giant cat like creature sleeps and lives. The girls are the only ones that get to see this creature but the whole little village has knowledge of them too, they just can't see them anymore because they're adults. A lot of adventure and imaginative scenes ensue until they're mother gets well and is leaving the hospital. Very fun to watch at times even emotional but generally very wholesome for the family.

    I bought this same video over 20 years ago, and my kids loved it! I had to buy it again on DVD for anyone who wants to watch it when they visit me. DEFINITELY a keeper in my video library! :D

    Amazing!

    Totoro has always been one of my favorite Hayao Miyazaki films and I was so glad I finally got to share this classic with my 3 year old son. He absolutely loved it! I will eventually be adding all of Miyazaki's works to our collection for us all to enjoy. Great for kids and adults :)
