Comprehensive Guide to Hamster Care
Things to consider before purchasing - where to keep the cage - the hamster needs undisturbed sleep during the day, to what extent will the hamster be allow to roam free and how well can the room be hamster proofed (they love to chew on carpet, wallpaper and electrical cords), are you going to be able to give the hamster the attention it needs to remain socialized and lots more things to consider. Do you want one hamster or tow? Most hamsters do not live peacefully together and must be monitored constantly as one may kill the other. Lots of detail provided to help you chose a hamster - breed, sex, etc. States the best place to buy a hamster and what to look for in purchasing a healthy hamster. There are some very cute color photos and lots of illustrations in this book. Overall I ... A must buy for all hamster owners.
