    An International Hit

    A very good movie directed by the German director, Wim Wenders and with a screenplay written by the American actor, Sam Shephard. The movie starts in the great American Southwest(Germans are fixated on the American Southwest landscape) with panorama scenes of empty spaces with a lonely wanderer (Travis) who is experiencing depression manifested by amnesia. Travis's brother's rescue him and he recovers enough to try to correct his neglect of his son and former wife who has deserted their son and works in Houston as a phone sex operator. A riveting movie that touches every viewer because of the universal themes and great photography. A great movie scene is near the end when Travis is telling his former wife about the torment he felt when they were married and she finally comes to ...

    Wow... Just a great movie.

    Just a great movie. Especially the end. I wanted to buy it because sometimes I really want to go back to some scenes and rewatch them. The scene in the booth is just so special for me. The dialogues are so powerful and so sad. You just put yourself into him because of what he says to her. I never cry. But whenever I watch this movie, I felt is something is bothering me in my throat area. Thanks for everyone for doing this movie.
