Items arrived quickly but 2 more plates had chips because Fitz & Floyd ceramics are so fragile, the plates were stacked on top of each other with 1 sheet of bubble wrap, and shipping box wasn’t properly marked “Fragile Glass” anywhere. Haven’t had much luck buying fragile purchases coming from West to Florida vs. coming from North or when shipping boxes not marked Fragile Glass! But recommend seller

    Great Tool For Pros or The Do It Yourself Crowd.

    I am a professional trim carpenter for a high end outfit. This tool not only makes my work faster and easier but much nicer. I broke it out immediately for the construction of a large built in shelving unit. I was able to get true plum lines floor to ceiling (10 ft.) without having to fumble with a large level on a step ladder. I also was able to get 18 feet of horizontal line for perfectly aligned shelves. Nice to walk up to the wall with a level line already there. This tool is very versatile. The is no end to the applications that it will be used for.

    The best thing in the world.

    Well, maybe not the whole world, but pretty close. I used to have to carry around chalk lines, plumb bob's, squares, builders levels, and all sorts of other contraptions when doing mechanical detailing. Now I have a small Pelican case with three items inside, a PLS 3, a PLS 180, and a PLS 90. With these three items and a tape measure I can do in an hour what used to take me 8. The 180 is particularly good in areas with uneven floors or odd angled walls, for it gives you a solid reference line either horizontally, vertically, or both. As for durability, I have personally dropped the 180 from atop a 12 foot ladder onto concrete and it didn't seem to mind a bit. The beam spread is much better than other comparable units, and the optional laser detector will allow you to use the 180 outdoors ...

    Finally, the green laser!

    Works like charm, thin, highly visible, and 180° vertical and horizontal. Makes it fun to construct whatever you need laser for. i will have this for a looooooooooooong time. :-)
