BETTER THAN I REMEMBERED
When I first saw this movie in a theater upon its long-awaited release, I-and seemingly everyone else in the audience-was disappointed and deemed it a letdown and a turkey. Now, more than thirty years later, my opinion isn't so harsh. I enjoyed watching it much more this time and no longer consider it a turkey. While it isn't my favorite ST movie, I like it very much. I guess the worst part of it is the Enterprise crews' uniforms! Family is everything
I purchased this for my daughter who is mentally challenged but LOVES watching Star Trek/Star Wars. She knows several by heart and when getting groceries, before she will come down a busy isle she will say, along with my husband, "Space the final frontier, where no man has gone before" Geesh :) Gotta love them!! So this is why I purchased this movie, it makes my daughter happy.
