    Matt Helm Lounge collector set

    For movies made back in the 60's, the transfer quality to DVD is as good as you can expect. The condition of the DVD's I received was pristine, no hammer marks, grit, tongue trails or peanut butter and jelly smears like you might find on a one-time rented DVD. All in all, I feel I got good value by purchasing this used set.

    It's great!

    It takes me way back. These are great bits of Dean Martin film history. He's got a bar in his car, I mean talk about the 60's, and everytime he talks about a woman I think "You Pig." It's awesome just to see what people used to think was hip and cool. also it looks like every other Irwin Allen film, so you know what you're getting ahead of time. There would have been more of these, but the last film was made the year the leading lady Sharon Tate was killed by the Manson Family and Dean just got soured on the whole deal because he wanted her to come back for the next film. I don't really think the premise these films are based on would have survived into the 70's anyway. It's something you gotta see, that's all I can really say.

    Lightweight with lots of fun!

    If you enjoy intrigue with lots of laughs, you will love Matt Helm! I remember watching these movies when I was a child and loving them then. I still do. Lots of fun and tongue-in-cheek comedy.

    Perfect Cheese to go with your Wine

    This is an awesome silly Americanized James Bond. I love this nostalgic look at old comedic spy movies. Dean Martin, aka Matt Helm, is hilarious try to pull off the spy routine. Silly villains and scantily clad bimbos interact with Dean Martin.
